Below, you can find the academic responsibilities expected from the students in Preparatory Class.
- Regular and active participation in classes;
- Complying with the lesson start and end times;
- Behaving in harmony with the dynamics of the classroom;
- Studying regularly for an effective language acquisition and contacting the class counsellor when necessary and asking for support from other instructors;
- Obtaining the necessary information about the courses in case of absenteeism and following the courses regularly;
- Following all the announcements and assignments published on CATS by the Department and instructors on a regular basis;
- Checking the student e-mail accounts and CATS every day for all announcements and notifications;
- Meticulously examining and understanding all the exam procedures shared by the Department and/or instructors, and contacting the class counsellor when needed;
- Submitting assignments on time and meeting the requirements for all assignments and projects;
- Participating in all exams held on the dates and time intervals specified in the exam calendar and complying with the exam instructions;
- Submitting a valid health report to the Department within three working days following the end of the exam in the case of serious health problems;
- Acting in accordance with the principles of academic honesty (e.g., not using other people's works without citing the source, not copy-pasting from sources such as internet, etc., especially in written assignments, not cheating during the exams).
