Welcome to  Istanbul Kültür University, School of Foreign Languages.

As you know, enrolling in the English Preparatory Class is compulsory for departments where English is the medium of instruction. We are here to help you gain the language skills you need, and our instructors and this program will guide you through the program. However, the true key to your success lies within you. Our expectation is that you walk the path we show you with perseverance and patience.

You should remember that learning English should not be solely for the purpose of following your departmental courses in English. Learning a language also means broadening your horizons and gaining a better understanding of the world. Our goal is to give language education to our students who respect ethical values enable them to become self-confident, hardworking, highly aware, visionary, and engaged in research. For all these reasons, you should not study just to pass your classes, but also strive to become individuals who are well equipped with strong language skills and able to respond to the demands of an increasingly globalized world. We hope that, with the language skills and diverse study disciplines you will acquire here, you will succeed in your studies and in your future careers. You are now a member of the Istanbul Kültür University family.  I believe that you will become individuals who make valuable contributions both to your academic life and your future professional life.
