Dear students,
The English Exemption Exam will be held on 24.10.2023 at 14:00 at the Foreign Languages Building of Şirinevler Campus in classroom 508. Student lists will be announced on the announcements tab of “İngilizce Muafiyet site” on CATS (https://cats.iku.edu.tr/portal) or the announcements of https://ydb.iku.edu.tr/ web site.
Our students are required to get a minimum score of 60-69 in order to be exempt from Foreign Language I and 70-100 out of 100 points in order to be exempt from Foreign Language I and Foreign Language II.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. This exam is only for students who are placed through additional placement exam of external placement exam (DGS).
2. The duration of the exam, which includes 50 multiple-choice questions in total, is 50 minutes.
3. In the exam, you need to have a soft-tipped pencil and an eraser that erases well.
4. You need to be on campus at least 15 minutes before your exam time.
5. It is highly recommended to review the file “ How to fill in the optical answer sheet?” on “CATS-İngilizce Muafiyet- Announcements tab.
6. We would like to remind you that it is the students’ responsibility to take the exams on time and follow all the announcements regarding the exam procedures.
